We joyfully accept the Great Commission given to us in Matthew 28, making disciples in all that we do. Whether in our regular meetings, sending out missionaries, supporting those already on the field, or engaging locally, each of us gets to fulfill our specific role in growing God’s Kingdom on earth.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” -1 Peter 4:10

Local Missions

“Seek peace and well-being for the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf; for in its peace you will have peace.

-Jeremiah 29:7

Serving in our own backyard is just as important as serving on a foreign field. We support local and foreign missions with the same heart of equipping people to lead others to Christ.

Our largest local missions are our yearly Toy & Clothing Swaps.

One of the local missions we support is the  North Georgia Pregnancy Center.

How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

– Romans 10:14-15

International Missions

Jesus has commissioned His church to make disciples of all nations. We desire to cultivate a “Larger Kingdom” mindset in our body: one that prays, gives, and goes out on international missions. We support and build up churches & missionaries throughout the world who proclaim the gospel through word and deed.

Jotham and Maria Van Der Decker, and their children, Rahab, Ellie and Chloe, serve in Papua New Guinea. They are assisting church planters in areas such as technical support, solar electric services, and education consultation.

Brian and Katherine Miller have been working with street children in Medellin, Colombia since 1996. Through their ministry, they have worked with street boys and girls, especially sexually exploited pregnant girls. They also started three church plants in the greater Medellin area. Currently, Global Transformation Ministries (GTM) has built a rescue home for pregnant, homeless girls. It houses them while teaching them a trade. Many of the girls come to Christ during this intentional time of care. The Millers also opened a transitional home for the girls who have graduated from the initial training.

Scotland - Daniel & Jenna Andre

Scotland possesses a rich history of the Christian faith, dating back to before the Reformation. For decades, devoted Christians in Scotland played a significant role in developing the protestant church and passionately pursued the task of global missions. Since the mid-1900s, there has been a dramatic decline of Christianity, with only 1% of Scotland’s population identifying as evangelical Christian today. Modern Scotland is decidedly secular, post-Christian, and increasingly multi-ethnic, with significant numbers from Unreached People Groups making Scotland their home. There is a desperate need for vibrant, welcoming, evangelical churches to be planted to reach this modern Scotland with the unchanging Gospel of Jesus. Daniel and Jenna are working with a new church plant in Edinburgh, Take Hold Church. They are trusting God to build a church that will transform lives by the power of the Gospel; a church that will ignite a church planting movement throughout Scotland that reaches people in Scotland and to the ends of the earth.
