WHERE TO GO FROM HERE
Building community, one step at a time.
Baptism is an important step for believers. Those who sign up for baptism will speak with a pastor beforehand to discuss why they desire to be baptized, what it means to them, and to have any questions answered.
“…and many … when they heard were believing and being baptized.”
Jesus said He came not to be served, but to serve, so we just want to do what He did. Serving is a great way to practically love other members of LBC.
Serving opportunities include teaching in Life Kids, making coffee, playing on the worship team, taking out the trash, and so much more! There is a place for all of us to use the gifts God has given us.
“For who is greater, the one who reclines at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at the table? But I am among you as the one who serves.” – Luke 22:27
Newcomer’s Coffee is a next step beyond attending on Sunday to see if LBC is the church God is calling you to. LBC leaders and members join up with those who are new to LBC for an evening of testimony, guided discussion, Q&A, desserts, and of course, great coffee.
Pastors will share some of our story, mission, and who they believe God is calling us to be as a church body. This is a great way to see if membership is the right next step for you.
For those who feel a living connection with LBC and sense God’s call to be a part of this body, membership is an important next step. The three-week membership class allows the attendee to ask questions, hear from leaders, review beliefs, talk through the vision and mission of LBC, and hear about ways to plug in and serve. The classes follow the 11 am service. Lunch and childcare are provided.
