Prayer & Worship

Prayer

At Life Bible Church, we believe that prayer is an amazing gift that God has given us, and we desire for our people to be a people of prayer. Whether it is a Life Ladies fellowship event, a child’s prayer in children's church, or a Life Group meeting on a weeknight, we want all our time together to have a time set apart for prayer.  In addition to having a culture where we reach out to God through prayer, we have set times of group prayer.

Men & Women's Prayer Meeting

The men & women of LBC gather on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM to intercede for our church, community, nation, and world. The men pray in the front lobby area and the women pray in the backroom. Childcare is provided from 6:30 - 8 PM. Sometimes, the men and women pray together as a group.

These meetings are the heartbeat of LBC, but they are open to anyone in the community who has an interest in praying. The prayer meetings typically start with a few minutes of scripture sharing and sometimes worship & singing. The groups then enter into a time of waiting on the Lord and praying as led. Everyone does not pray aloud. Anyone who wants to come and sit, listen, and pray quietly is welcome to do so.

Wednesday Prayer is a great place to learn to pray, find others who are burdened to pray, and sit in the presence of the Lord with other believers. The Lord is FAITHFUL to meet with His people! To find out how you can get involved, please contact Angela Barrere at abarrere@lifebiblechurch.com.

Men's Prayer Breakfast

The men of LBC meet the first Saturday of each month from 8 - 10 AM at the church. They enjoy a hearty breakfast, fellowship, a time in the Word together, and prayer for one another in the context of being God’s men in this generation. See the church calendar for the next men's prayer breakfast.

Worship

At Life Bible Church, we believe that worship is the constant of the Sunday service. The fellowship, the singing, communion and baptisms, testimonies, and the message are all worship. We were made for God, and this is a time we set apart to be with each other in His powerful presence, so not a moment should be wasted.

The musical part of our worship service is a highlight of our Sundays together. The worship music at LBC is contemporary, carefully selected, and brought with sincerity of heart. We hope you will join your voice with ours this Sunday in worship to the King!
