How can I serve?

For who is greater, the one who reclines at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at the table? But I am among you as the one who serves. Luke 22:27

Jesus, the greatest of all, took the lowest place and served His brothers, strangers, and even His enemies. As His heart is formed in us, we find the desire to do the same. In the church, we have many areas where those with gifts can use them, those who desire to work in hidden places can do just that, and all the body can be built up through the gracious serving of all its members.

This form allows you to get more information on serving in these areas of the church. If you click a box, it does not mean you WILL serve in those areas, but it lets the leader of that ministry know that you are interested in serving, or have questions you may want answered about what serving would look like.

If you are wanting to give back to your local body of believers, review the form below. Check the one box, or two or three that you are interested in serving. Once submitted, you should hear back from the leader of that ministry. They will likely ask to talk with you about why you want to serve, and whether or not they have any current openings. If they do not have openings, or they do not feel you would be a good fit with that particular service area, don’t worry. We are committed to helping our LBC family find a good place to serve.

Thanks for loving the local church!
